New Zealand Co., North Fitzroy, G. F. O'Neill

c1898-1900

Extremely rare Melbourne marble bottle. The New Zealand Co., appear to have started in 1898 and the business was wound up in 1900. It has been stated that this was a sister company to O’Neill Brothers of North Fitzroy however the New Zealand Co., operated from a different address and Graham Fox O’Neill doesn’t appear to have had any direct involvement with O’Neill Brothers. The similarity of Trade Mark may in fact just have been a way for G. F. O’Neill to try to gain some market from people used to seeing the O’Neill Brothers bottles.
