Very Good. A few light glaze scratches to the face which are difficult to detect. A 15 x 3 mm discoloured mark between The and Teeth on the face. A fine 13 mm discoloured glaze hairline to the very edge of the rim at about 3 o'clock, a section of about 30 mm of wear on the opposite side of the rim edge. One further tiny nick to this section. The flange has a tiny 2 x 3 mm flake, then a larger 23 x 5 mm, but shallow chip. There are a couple of other minor nicks to the bottom flange as well. Under side of the lid has some heavily discoloured crazing. A most impressive and imposing lid, this is a great display item. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $750 - 1000
