WCG / Zeals. Pontil to base. Wine Seal Applied string rim type flat lip. Dark olive green. Quart. 276 mm. 1800s
Excellent. Fine annealing marks to inner lip. Some dirt and possible wine stain internally, this will clean out if so desired. Top of seal has a nibbled chip over abut 13 mm and probably up to 2 mm of the upper seal. Unusually made, behind the seal a lump of glass has been pushed into the bottle from manufacture. Some minor dull spots, scuffs and scratches. Fabulous saggy base, great pontil, nicely formed lip, beautiful size, sensational bottle really which is truly a piece of history.
