Mint. Demijohns don't come much better than this. You may be able to find a glaze flake or two at the shoulder and the odd small mark around the place. The tap is the original and even has the cork insert still in excellent condition. The handle and wooden top that requires a special opener are also original. Simply a superb item which is extremely rare - we cannot recall one of these at auction for many years. Grade: 9.5 Estimate: $8000 - 10000
