Fowlers Patent / Vacola (in flattened shield) / No 45 / Home Preserving Jar. Base: Owens machine rings and some unreadable letters. Household Fruit Jar Tall round cylinder. Offset seam through heavy angled top with ground lip. Clear (very pale straw). 45 ozs. 180 mm. 1920s
Good. Large 20 x 6 mm chip to the back lip with a shallow bruise associated on the inner lip at this spot. Lots of small chips/flakes off the inside of the ground lip and a couple on the outside. Needs a better clean but there is some very minor stain inside and scuffs and scratches to the outside. A nice looking jar on display as the chip is at the back. No lid or clips with this one. Grade: 6.9 Estimate: $10 - 20
