JG Co Ltd monogram in large circle. Base embossed with fancy pattern. Labelled: Gosnell's / Society / Eau de Cologne / Distilled by / John Gosnell & Co Ld / London Paris. Stopper is embossed with the same JG Co Ltd monorgram as the bottle. Also has a neck label bearing the monogram and two other small rear labels. Household Perfume Applied top, tooled finish. Tall square shouldered cylinder. Clear. 7 oz. 180 mm without stopper. 1890s
Near Mint. Some tiny fleabites around the inner lip where the original glass stopper sits. Some spots of dirt and grime to be found, possibly some light haze to be seen in spots. Labels are in good condition, they have some stain. The small rear labels have some small tears and marks. We have never seen this bottle before, let alone one in this superb original condition complete with labels. Grade: 9.4 Estimate: $50 - 75
