J. Pottie in a weird broken curved line. Smooth base (Pottie was a Veterinarian in Sydney). Medicine Chemist Oval shape. Crude, applied flared lip. Aqua. 4 oz. 135 mm. 1860s
Very Good. Dull and slightly worn surface all over and some light stain inside. A few little pinprick type marks around the lip and a very shallow 2 x 1 mm flake off the decoration around the embossing near the E of Pottie. Otherwise just the usual light scuffs and scratches. Nice early bottle. Grade: 7.35 Estimate: $20 - 30
