Stoneware character decanter/dispenser. Face of man wearing sleeping cap. No makers marks. Spirits Whisky Stoneware character piece with opening at top of cap and tap hole through bow tie at bottom. Dark tan top and light tan lower section. Half Gallon? 275 mm. Late 19th century
Excellent. A bit of minor wear on the base. 10 x 3 mm flake to the handle at the rear. Some minor marks and scuffs over the surface. Lots of manufacturing faults, splits and marks over the piece as you would expect with such a complicated design. Great piece of stoneware. Grade: 8.7 Estimate: $150 - 200
