Pair of English Codds: Thraves & Williams Nottingham & Chapman, Chemist, Scarborough. Aerated Water Codd Various Various. 1880s-1890s
Thraves & Williams is a great looking, early Codd bottle but has a 14 x 12 mm bruise/fracture to the left side of the lip. Some dullness, scuffs and scratches elsewhere. Nice dark aqua. Chapman has a 7 x 5 mm impact and chip to the front of the chamber. Some scratches and scuffs over the surface. Small flake to rear base edge. Some haze and dirt inside as well. A bit of outer rust stain. Grade: N/A Estimate: $10 - 20
