Near Mint. An odd size, too small for a 13 ounce, too big for a 7 ounce, so I have suggested 8 oz. Probably South Africa’s most famous Codd bottle. All known examples are cellar found (none have ever been dug) as the bottles were never put into circulation. The bottle is embossed RELIANCE PATENT but is actually an ACME patent. One fisheye to front base edge. A few scratches and minor marks. Superb item! Grade: 9.1 Estimate: $200 - 300
